SALUTE TO FIRST RESPONDERS

In observance of Patriot Day 2020, The Veterans National Entertainment Workshop and The American Legion Ronald Reagan-Palisades Post 283 honor the heroes on the front lines of the pandemic with a FREE ONLINE CONCERT “SALUTE TO FIRST RESPONDERS” featuring First Responders and U.S. Military Veterans performing original and popular songs.

We thank First Responders, U.S. Military Veterans and essential workers for their selflessness and their commitment to helping those in critical need during the pandemic. The Concert is hosted by comedian, BJ Lange (U.S.A.F. Medic/Retired), features a diverse cast of nurses, doctors, paramedics, police, firefighters and military veterans singing songs that inspire them during these difficult times. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band, The National Virtual Medical Orchestra, Grammy-nominated composer Jimmy Dunne and singer/composer Annie Bosko are spotlighted, and major government officials salute our first responders.

The Pacific Coast Post is located in Pacific Palisades, California and serves the communities in West Los Angeles, California. The American Legion is a congressionally chartered mutual-aid veterans organization of the United States armed forces founded on four pillars - Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism and Children and Youth. Each of these pillars encompasses a variety of programs and services that benefit our nation’s veterans, its service members, their families, the youth of America and ordinary citizens.
